House Rules
Gubo Satoyama SUITE is a facility that can be used to your heart’s content for lodging and long-term stays by those who respect the nature of Satoyama and the lifestyle of the local community and support environmental conservation, as well as their families and friends. We kindly ask for your cooperation in observing the following rules so that everyone can use the facilities comfortably while protecting the natural environment.
Precautions when staying
- Gubo Satoyama SUITE is not in the city, but in a nature-rich satoyama lodge. Naturally, various insects and creatures inhabit the fields and mountains. We have facilities such as screen doors to prevent insects from entering, but please understand the risk of insects entering when opening and closing the entrance and windows.
- When you leave the room, please return it to the same state as when you entered the room. Please be careful when handling buildings and other equipment. Please take full responsibility for any damage to the facilities.
- We may charge you for the cost of restoring the facilities to their original condition in the event that the facilities are damaged or damaged during use, or if equipment is lost.
- Since the entire building is made of wood, smoking in the room is strictly prohibited. In addition, please be careful when handling fire indoors. If you plan to use fire in the room, please notify us at the time of booking.
- Please be considerate of your neighbors regarding noise. Especially after the sun goes down, it becomes a big nuisance in the area. If you receive a complaint about noise, you may be asked to leave.
- Regarding garbage separation, please follow the rules of the accommodation area (Katsuura City, Zao Town, etc.). If it is too dirty, we may ask you to help separate the garbage when you leave.

Capacity of each building / Pets allowed / Payment Method
- Gubo Satoyama SUITE is a charter system limited to one group per day.
- The basic usage fee differs for each building. Please check the reservation page of each facility.
Reservation page of Shiraki Village
Reservation page of Miyagizao-Sansuien Village (Under Construction) - The basic capacity of the basic charge for each building is 2 people. An additional charge of 5,500 yen (including tax) per person is required for 3 or more people. If it turns out that the number of guests is different from the number at the time of reservation, you may be asked to leave.
- Pet dogs (up to 2 medium-sized dogs are allowed) can stay together only in the Shiraki Village JIN building. For details on pets, please refer to the introduction page of Shiraki Village JIN building.
- Payments can be made in advance by bank transfer, local cash payment, or local card payment. Only the Miyagi Zao Sansuien building supports online payment in advance.

※All buildings are common if there is no notation of the building.

Shiraki Village JIN building only
・Dedicated dog run available
・There is a mini reading corner and analog record corner in the loft.

Shiraki Village KEN building
・BBQ is possible in the private garden.
BBQ set (charcoal stove, net, tongs, garden table & garden chairs for the number of people) can be rented for a fee. Please prepare your own ingredients.
Miyagizao-Snasuien only
・BBQ (reservation required) can be used for a fee at the shared BBQ area outside the premises. |
Check in / Check out
Check-in is from 15:00 to 18:00 and check-out is at 10:00.
Shiraki Village and Miyagi Zao-Sansuien have different check-in and check-out methods. For details, please check the page of each facility information.
